Local Urban League partners with the City of Charlotte for hiring expo


On Tuesday, the Urban League of Central Carolinas will partner with City Charlotte for a job fair at its main office at 740 W. 5th Street from 9am to 3pm.

Over ten departments will be on-site and ready-to-hire, including CATS, 311, Charlotte Water, CMPD and more.

“This partnership aligns perfectly with our mission to equip underserved communities with the tools and resources they need to achieve social and economic equality,” said Robyn Lake Hamilton, interim president and CEO of the Urban League of Central Carolinas in a statement.

Participants should bring resumes and identification.
